What is a Pixel?
There are different types of Pixels:

Facebook Pixel – for tracking Facebook Ads

Google Tag (formerly Global Site Tag) – for Google Ads
-
TikTok Pixel – for TikTok Ads
How to Set Up Facebook Pixel
Step 1: Create a Pixel

Log in to Facebook Ads Manager
-
Go to Events Manager → Click ‘Connect Data Sources’ → Choose ‘Web’

Select Facebook Pixel, give it a name
-
Enter your website URL and click Continue
Step 2: Install the Pixel Code
There are 3 ways to install:

Manual installation: Copy the Pixel code and paste it into the
<head>section of your website. -
Partner integration: If you're using Shopify, WordPress, etc., you can follow the guided setup.

Google Tag Manager (GTM): Add the Facebook Pixel using GTM tags and triggers.
Step 3: Test the Pixel
Use the Meta Pixel Helper (a browser extension) to check if the Pixel is working properly.
How to Set Up Google Ads Conversion Tracking (Google Pixel)

Log in to Google Ads

Go to Tools & Settings → Measurement → Conversions

Click New Conversion Action → Choose Website

Fill in the details and get the conversion tracking tag

Install the tag manually or via Google Tag Manager

Use Google Tag Assistant to test the setup
How to Set Up TikTok Pixel (Optional)

Go to TikTok Ads Manager → Assets → Events → Web Events

Click Create Pixel

Choose manual installation or Google Tag Manager

Verify it's working using TikTok Pixel Helper
If You’re Using a CMS Like WordPress or Shopify:
You can install pixels more easily with plugins or built-in options:

WordPress: Use plugins like “PixelYourSite” or “Insert Headers and Footers.”

Shopify: Go to Online Store → Preferences, and just paste your Pixel ID
